Director of Operations
Brandt Bowman: PTR Certified Professional
Brandt played collegiate tennis at Division II West Virginia Wesleyan College for four years before beginning his teaching career at the Peters Township Tennis Center in 1998. Now beginning his 11th season as the Head Coach for the Peters Township boys and girls high school tennis teams, he has coached numerous singles and doubles state champions; guiding the girl’s team to state titles in 2006, 2009, 2011 and 2012. He has also been the co-director of our summer junior program for the past two seasons. Brandt enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities and stresses fundamentals of stroke production and footwork.

Bill Pilardi: USPTA Certified Instructor
Bill played Division 1 tennis for Pitt and Penn State before playing professionally in Europe for 8 years. He began his teaching career in France, and has been teaching tennis for over 30 years both domestically and abroad. As director of our indoor junior program Bill's main goal is to continue to improve on things we can do to help the junior players achieve their goals in tennis. Bill has also co-directed our outdoor summer junior program for the past two seasons and is a certified Cardio Tennis instructor. He loves to work with players of all ages and levels. He teaches all aspects of the game, including stroke and footwork techniques, tactics, strategies, and mental toughness for competition.

Tennis Professional Steve Happe:
Steve has been the Summer PTTC Director for the past 22 years. He was a Teaching Pro for the Racquet Club of Pittsburgh ('86 – '93) as well as summer Director of Tennis for Green Oaks Country Club and Fox Chapel Yacht Club. Steve played No.1 singles for Edinboro University his senior year after lettering the 3 previous years. A Social Studies teacher at St. Elizabeth Elementary School, he has a BA from Edinboro University and a MS from Duquesne University.

Chuck has been ranked in the top 10 nationally numerous times, and has been ranked #1 multiple time in the Middle States section. He was named High School Coach of the Year for 2007 for Allegheny Mountain District.
With 40 years of teaching experience, Chuck has formerly been the Director of JD at Greentree Racquet Club and Head Pro at Washington Park and Rolling Hills Country Club.

USPTR Certified Instructor
Formerly ranked #11 in the US Women's NCAA and a four time college state champion. Collegiate state record-holder (91-1) and a member of the Clarion University Hall-of-fame. Lisa has been teaching for 24 years and has coached countless students towards top AMD and Middle States rankings as well as full collegiate scholarships. Along with teaching lessons Lisa is also a certified Cardio Tennis instructor.

Jerry has been with the Peter Township tennis center for
14 years and has brought a unique teaching practice to the Peters area. Gerald
(Jer) played tennis tournaments through out California and Washington in the mid
1970ʼs. Jer, has had the privilege to be under the apprenticeship with Dick Leach father
of Rick Leach (Wimbledon and US open champion) in southern California. Looking for
doubles, call Jer.

Andy played Division II tennis for West Liberty University where he helped the team with its first regional win. He holds a BS in Business Administration and a specialization in Sports Management. This is his second year at Peters Township Tennis Center. Andy enjoys working with students of all ages and abilities.
